Hi!

I'm Molly (she/they). I'm a nature artist, gardener, workshop leader, and community connector based in Oxford.

I create playful artwork and installations using found, foraged, recycled, and organic materials. My practice includes textiles, printmaking, sculpture, gardening, community art, natural dyeing, mud printing, and whatever else inspires me!

My practice sits where art, gardening, and community meet.

I’m fascinated by the things people often overlook: slug trails, spores, weeds, compost, mud, cabbage leaves, creepy crawlies, damp corners, and things slowly decomposing in interesting ways. I love turning these “gross” or ordinary materials into soft, tactile, joyful work that invites people to look again.

Community, accessibility, playfulness, and getting your hands dirty are at the heart of what I do.

My creative philosophy

  • Art can be playful

I love playing with nature. Foraging for materials in woods and gardens, I see leaves as little ready-made printing plates, and mushroom spores as mushroom self portraits.

  • Art can be mindful

Disability means I must take things slow. This allows time to appreciate the little things, letting me feel joy and survive.

My workshops and commissions are designed to feel grounding and sensory.

  • Art can be accessible to everyone

I’m passionate about inclusion and making creativuty available to all.

I’m also an accessibility consultant, and bring this approach into my workshops, community projects, and designs.

  • Art can bring people together

Community making is at the heart of my work. Whether I’m leading a workshop, running a gardening session, or working with a local org, I love seeing people connect through nature and creativity.

What I make

A bit more about me

As a queer & Disabled person, I often feel like an outsider.

This distance from the mainstream allows me to see what may seem dirty or mundane as extraordinary and beautiful.

My work often features slug trails, weeds, and spores, things often deemed gross by society. I’m drawn to things that survive quietly in the margins. Worms turning waste into fertile soil. Weeds cracking through concrete. Mushrooms appearing overnight. Rot becoming new life. Softness as strength.

It may be through the tactile treasure of the humble cabbage leaf, or the fortunate finding of forageable mushrooms. Or maybe the not-so-fortunate surprise of finding a rat named Pat that lives behind your kitchen sink.

My journey with chronic pain led me to find solace in nature.

Disability means I must take things slow. This means I spend a lot of time noticing tiny details, unexpected textures, and small moments of beauty. Slowness has become an important part of my practice - alongside curiosity, experimentation, and making joyful messes.

Nature has the power to bring people together, through shared experiences and memories, and nourish both the community and the planet. My community work in gardening and art spaces reflect my desire to let nature heal and use it as a positive unifying force.

I am passionate about building communities
and have a range of curating, public art, and community experience.

Did you know I’ve worked as a Youth Worker with autistic children?

I also run inclusive welcoming garden spaces at Flos and The Children’s Allotment and love using nature as a way of grounding and connecting with people.

You can also find me at not-for-profit queer community company T(ART) Productions CIC as an artist, gardener, and volunteer.

I also founded queer art collective SCRAPS!

Let’s create something together

Whether you’re dreaming of a nature-inspired print to go on your wall, looking for a mindful moment of making, or planning a community project, I’d love to hear from you
